If you have ever suffered a penalty, you must know how awful it feels. After a lot of hard work to create high quality content, set up web hosting, social signals, Powerful Backlinks and waiting for the website to get to a place where it starts to gain Top 10 rankings, boosted traffic, and a positive cash flow, it is heartbreaking when it seems like all that work went in vain.

All of a sudden, websites that are running successfully running drop around 5 to 6 pages in the SERPs and then Deindexed in Google.
When you log into the Google Search Console tool to check what’s wrong, you get a jolt of the bitter reality and find These heartbreaking words in Google Search Console.

“Google has detected a pattern of unnatural, artificial, deceptive, or manipulative outbound links. Buying links or participating in link schemes in order to manipulate PageRank is a violation of Google’s Webmaster Guidelines.”
Or Onsite Penalty, Thin Content Penalty, etc…
A potential client came to me for a solution to this kind of penalty about 3.5 years ago. All I did was a simple trick that brought his site to #2 ranking on Google. After surviving many core algo updates since that incident, his site earns him about $4,000+ revenue every month and of course I receive a decent amount for keeping him there. How did I manage to do that?
Let us take a look at how you can easily remove all Manual Penalties within a week from Google.
Google Penalty Recovery Method – Double 301 Redirection
Even today, this hack works. A double 301 redirect enables the website owner to pass the link juice to the domain without incurring any penalty. You might feel a little skeptical about the entire process as it is straightforward. But if you take a look at a live example I’m going to walk you through; you can easily find the proof in the pudding.
The Test Case
About four months ago, one of my affiliate websites was penalized due to thin content. This often happens when people in competitive niches start reporting each other instead of minding their own business and play it fair. I’m not giving out the real name of the site or even the niche for that matter. But for understanding, let’s assume the domain that has been penalized is MinecraftAccount.com.
Step 1) Make an exact clone of the penalized website and move it to a new domain. Ex: MinecraftAccountFinal.com
Step 2) Register another new domain with a different but similar name. This can act as the middle-man. Ex: MinecraftAccountMiddle.com
Step 3) 301 Redirect the Original website, that is, the Penalized site (MinecraftAccount.com) to the middle-man site (MinecraftAccountMiddle.com).
This can be done in two ways. Let us take a look.
A. Try .htaccess File Method (Recommended)
This method is definitely more effective than the alternative I am going to provide below. However, this requires cloning and hosting the original website to the middle man. Even though this method takes longer to implement, it is undoubtedly more effective.
Once it’s done, add this code to the .htaccess file on the original site. Make sure you customize according to your domain name. This code ensures that everything from your previous website is successfully mapped on to the receiving website’s corresponding page.
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.websiteA.com$
RewriteRule (.*)$ http://www.websiteB.com/$1 [R=301,L]
B. Through the Registrar
301 redirection via the registrar is also very easy. That is what You should do in your cPanel web hosting.
This method is undoubtedly faster than the previous one but isn’t as effective. The reason behind this is that this method isn’t page-to-page mapping. All the sending site’s pages are directed only to the homepage of the receiving website. But if you are too busy or lazy, this is the ideal method for you as it doesn’t require hosting as well as cloning at the middle level.
Step 4) 301 redirect the middle-man site to the final website (MinecraftAccountMiddle.com -> MinecraftAccountFinal.com)
Step 5) You can check the 301 Redirection here to confirm that your redirection is search engine friendly.
Results
Wait for 3 to 7 days and find your website in Top 10 on Google if you followed the above steps carefully.
So, Do the rankings stick for your website too? For my particular Website Test Case, It’s been more than 8.5 months since the 301 redirection, and not only is it’s sticking but its on page 1 on Google without any new Backlinks.
